John's going to be giving a talk on Technical diving as his recent adventures diving the Andrea Doria for the New England Aquarium on the evening of Monday, May 3rd. Details to follow...
Come see John speak at the Scuba Sports Club (www.thescubasportsclub.org) in Weschester County, NY on Wednesday, March 10th! He'll be talking about his dive on the Andrea Doria and will have copies of Out Of Hell's Kitchen on sale.
Out Of
Hell's Kitchen gets a new cover! The publisher is about to do a reprint,
which has allowed me to sneak in a few edits that have really bugged me
since the novel was first published. Along with the edits I've also managed
to tweak the cover a tiny bit (most importantly, I was able to use the
proper snake - the Aipysurus laevis - rather than the land reptile I
was stuck with.)
There will be more information coming about the reprint
soon, but for now, here's a peak at the new cover...
(sigh) Though it took me a little while to actually do
this, I've put together a memorial of sorts to my faithful dog Jackie, who I
lost on September 22nd. She was an amazing friend.

October 8, 2007: Writers Digest has given Out Of
Hell's Kitchen Honorable Mention in the Writer's Digest 15th Annual
International Self-Published Book Awards, 481 entries and only ten winners. Stay tuned for more information.
 June 18, 2007: Out Of Hell's Kitchen
has been given the publisher's highest award, the Star Program, and is in
the process of being reprinted.
May 2, 2007: Book signing and dinner with the author at
the Tuscan House restaurant in Middleboro, MA.
March 24 & 25, 2007: John will be signing books at the
Beneath The Sea Exposition,
probably the country's largest diving exposition. It's going to be at the
Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ. What is also great about this
signing event it that John's donating 30% of the proceeds to the charity
Ocean Pals, a national environmental education-through-art program.
March 3 & 4, 2007: John will be signing books at
Boston Sea
Rovers, one of this country’s oldest and most prestigious dive
clubs, which is sponsoring their historic 53rd Annual Underwater Clinic at
the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. If you're in the area, stop by
and say hello.
February 25, 2007: The Boston Globe features John in an article spanning an
entire page, including several photos of John doing what he does for the New
England Aquarium. To see the online version of the article go

February 17, 2007: John will be doing a book signing at
GotBooks, 35 Concord St, North Reading, MA. If you're in the
neighborhood swing on by and say hi.
January 20, 2007: January-February issue of Diver Magazine hits the
stands with a review of Out Of Hell's Kitchen. Check out a newsstand near
you!
Barnes & Noble, here we come... Out Of Hell's Kitchen will be on
the New Releases display at the Barnes & Noble Prudential Center bookstore
on November 21.
Out of Hell's Kitchen has received both the Editor's Choice award and
the Publisher's Choice award from the publisher. Pick up a copy and see
